Submitted by Tom Landi on Thu, 01/21/2010 - 12:18pm.On Saturday March 13th the Chicago Soccer Referee Club along with the Greater Chicago Chapter of Collegiate Officials and the Illinois Soccer Referee Committee will be hosting an Advanced Referee Clinic. Featured speaker will be Steve Olson a former FIFA Assistant Referee and National Assessor/Instructor. This will be the last opportunity for those Grade 5 and 6 USSF Referees to take the State Level Exam. Both the Re-Cert and State Level Exams will be offered. The location of the Clinic still needs to be determined.

What we can offer:
•TRAINING: The CSRC will provide training and educational opportunities for referees. Our clinicians include:
- Former and current FIFA Referees and National Referees (both USSF and NISOA),
- Former professional league administrators
- Current National Assessors
- Former NCAA College Cup officials
- IHSA State Final Officials
• EXPOSURE: The CSRC will work with assignors from a variety of youth and adult amateur leagues in order to offer its members the chance to work games that are appropriately challenging
